An old school tileset, for old school games!
This tileset was inspired by the wonderful blogpost by dicegoblin (https://dicegoblin.blog/going-retro-using-pixel-art-on-your-virtual-table-top/#r...) and represents my own take on the idea.
This core tileset should cover most of your basic necessities of life.
Future releases in this series will be grouped expansion sets to expand your collection (think "A spooky graveyard" or "ruins" sets)

Install instructions
We recommend using Tiled (https://www.mapeditor.org) with these assets, it's free (and really good) and you should probably go download it!

Hi. Wanted to say that this looks fantastic! I found the original blog post by dicegoblin, and started to expand it for my own purposes, and now I found your set with even more cool stuff.
Can you tell which palette are you using, if any?
Absolutely fell in love with the retro approach on this. Simple, but rich, I think these tilesets have a lot of utility potential.Good luck on your Ruins expansion :)

Ruins are progressing, I’ve also started some exploration work on overland map assets

Nice! What creatures/monsters are included?
I have not started on critters yet!
That said, I’d like to eventually cover everything in the Old School Essentials DM guide.
